Randy served as the Managing Partner of Faro Capital Group, LLC (Faro) and its predecessor companies since 2006. Faro has raised and deployed over $400 million of debt and equity capital, operating or participating in ~1,100 oil and gas wells in North Dakota, Colorado, Utah, Nebraska, Kansa and Oklahoma. As an early entrant into the Bakken Shale in 2006/07, Faro’s predecessor company Coachman Energy Partners (CEP) with its partners assembled 66,000 net mineral acres and drilled 115 Bakken and Three Forks wells investing $115 million. Within 12 months, solely from organic drilling, the asset was producing 800 BOPD net to CEP’s interest. The asset was sold to a Fortune 100 company in 2001 returning 2X ROI net of fees.
