Faro programs are oil-centric development initiatives that recycle existing wellbores, using them as a conduit to produce oil and gas from known, previously undeveloped or underdeveloped production zones.
Our primary development area encompasses 23 counties, over 6,900 square miles with upward of 12,000 potential target wells, in northern Oklahoma.
The process of recycling a wellbore can be completed in days, not weeks, with no or minimal fracking required. As a result, wells are relatively inexpensive to drill compared to Big Resource Plays, and production and cash flows can occur more quickly. In addition, leveraging existing wellbore inventory allows us to access new production zones at a fraction of the cost of new drilling, while dramatically minimizing risk and environmental impact.
